Chartering a yacht in Croatia - why rent a yacht from Split

Split is easily accessible by plane, car, boat and train
The easiest way to get to Split would probably be by plane. The international Split Airport is the second busiest Airport in Croatia with 3.3 million passengers going through in 2019.. Located in Kaštela, some 20 kilometers from Split, it connects the city with numerous European destinations.
If you would prefer to visit Split by car at your disposal, among others, is the A1 motorway, the longest motorway in Croatia, connecting Split with the Croatian capital Zagreb.
In addition to these, you can also reach Split by boat / ferry from Italy and, if you are not in a hurry, by train coming from the northern part of the country.

Split is a great starting point to explore the Adriatic coast
When chartering a yacht from the city Split area, depending on the time you have at your disposal, you can choose to head down south to Dubrovnik visiting Korčula, the birth place of Marco Polo, and Mljet National Park along the way.
If you decide to go north you may experience sailing through Kornati, the densest archipelago in the Mediterranean Sea, which is also a National Park.

Just to visit two of several UNESCO World Heritage sites in Croatia, the Historic City of Trogir and Historical Complex of Split with the Palace of Diocletian, the ancient Roman city of Solana and Klis Fortress, which are all a short drive away from each other, you’ll need a few days.
The main problem you might face is not having enough time to do and see all the things you would like to. But you can always solve this by coming for another visit next year.
